Objetos de Hojalata para el Hogar vol. 1
Another regular day in summer, waking up with a breeze on the forehead. A shade of green leaves wabbling on the bedroom floor. Hearing buses and cars strolling down the street, picking up an ashtray found on the front porch, the room is built within the connection with the city.
"Objetos de Hojalata para el Hogar vol. 1"
- The series made by Fabien Cappello
Can’t wait to share with you the artist I met in Mexico, Fabien Cappello, originally from France and now living in Mexico. The series is an ongoing project that connects the relationship between life objects and Mexico City. The artist tends to find moments in the city that represent the crafts and making in the culture. To bring home the objects he creates, whenever watering the plants or lighting up a candle, there’s a slice of Mexico City within.
